Srinagar: A charred body of a youth was recovered from the rubble of a structure in Haft Chinar area of Srinagar city on Sunday.
Police said, fire broke out in a wooden structure at Sheikh colony, Haft Chinar in Srinagar which resulted in complete damage to the structure. During search of rubble a charred body was recovered by the search team.
Police identified the dead body of a 25-year old youth Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad of Gulshan colony Haft Chinar, Shergari.
A case has been registered in this regard and police has initiated a probe.
