Karnah: In its effort to provide quality education and Computer literacy in the border areas the Indian Army provided Six Computers and Printers with mandatory peripherals to make a Computer Training Center at the Boys Middle School, Panjtaran in Karnah Tehsil. The Computer Training Center has been established by 5/8 Gorkha Rifles under the aegis of the Shakti Vijay Brigade as part of the Sadhbhavana. Addressing the students, guardians and teachers during the inauguration function the Commanding Officer of 5/8 Gorkha Rilfes highlighted the importance of computer education in the present day tech savvy environment. He exhorted the students to be dedicated to their studies and make full use of this opportunity to become computer literate in this remote area. He appreciated the teachers for their hardwork and dedication to their profession. The gleam in the eyes of the students to have access to computer education was a joyoussight for a large gathering of parents and locals present on this occasion. Such events clearly bring out that the civilians and Army go hand in hand towards the aim of providing quality education to the future generations.
